Obituary for JERRY WILLIAMS, SR.

Jerry Maurice Williams, Sr., 46, a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Woodbridge, VA for the past two years, departed this life on Sunday, November 21, 2010. He was a 1982 graduate of B.C. Rain High School, attended Mobile College, served the US Army, employed in the Food & Beverage Industry, a member of the Comrades, Inc. and spent several years in the Mobile Area Mardi Gras Association. Cherishing his memories are his son, Jerry Williams, Jr.; granddaughter, La-Mour Williams; sister, Sherry (Herman) Blackmon; six brothers, James "Ed" Bowie, Thomas (Zelda) Williams, Jr., Ivra "Joe" (Audrey) Williams, Roy "Rick" Williams, Ivan "Van" Williams, Sr., and Leon "Marty" (Andrea) Williams; sister-in-law, Edna Bowie and a host of nieces, (one devoted, Katamie (Eric) Cleveland and family), nephews, other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state Friday, December 3, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Small's Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be Saturday, December 4, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 2909 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL.
