Obituary for Jimmie Bohannon

Jimmie Earl Bohannon, a resident of Semmes, Alabama, was born September 29, 1949, departed this life on Wednesday, September 30, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Henryetta Bohannon; son, Orenthal J. Bohannon; three brothers, James Bohannon, Jackie Bohannon and Howard D. Moore and one grandchild, Jeremy Bohannon. He is survived by four children, Willie, Ronald, Chajuanna Bohannon and Harolyn Bohannon Stevens, all of Mobile, Alabama; Three sisters, Lillie Wright of Moss Point, Mississippi, Angela and Sherlie Bohannon, both of Mobile, Alabama; Two brothers, Roger Bohannon of Millbrook, Alabama and Jackie Bohannon of Long Island, New York; Sixteen grandchildren, Martez Stevens, Oreneshia Stevens, Derrick Stevens, Orlando Bohannon, Alexander Bohannon, Xavier Bohannon, Alexis Autry, Carnell Autrey, Oliver Mabien, Willie Dees, Ashley Thomas, Seria Richardson, Quiteris Young, Qualin Young, Terrance Oats, Shakeria Golston; Four great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, one devoted niece and nephew, Willie and Tamblyn Bohannon; A host of other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. at the Holmes Street Baptist Church, 316 Max Street, Prichard, Alabama until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour.
