Obituary for Joseph Nathaniel Dale

Joseph N. Dale, better known a "Minner", departed this life on Friday, October 4, 2013. He was born on December 30, 1941 in Baldwin County, Alabama to Bailey and Zeolia Dale. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and fifteen sibling. He attended Concordia Lutheran School and Baldwin County Training School. Joseph was a free spirit, never settling in any one place. Joseph leaves to cherish his memories, one devoted brother, Paul (Clara) Dale of Montrose, AL; four sisters, Mabelean Scott, Eunice (Lemon) Clancy, Velma (Andrew)Jackson, all of Mobile, AL and Dorothy (David) Murray of Laureton, New York; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Dale of Montrose, Alabama and Nellie Dale of Fairhope, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, one devoted, Rhonda Parker, who will miss him dearly. He only stopped by here on his way home. His earthly remains will lie in state on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 1pm until 6pm at Small's Mortuary, Fairhope. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Concordia Lutheran Church, 23186 U.S. Hwy. 98, Montrose, AL, Rev. Benjamin Stallworth will be presiding. Interment will follow in Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY, 24336 U.S. Hwy. 98, Fairhope, AL.
