Obituary for Joseph McCaster

Mr. Joseph (Joe) McCaster- a native of Atmore, AL. and resident of Mobile, AL was born December 25, 1935 and departed this life on Tuesday morning, February 23, 2010. Joseph was the fourth child of six children. He was preceded in death by his parents the late Archie McCaster and Mary Rush McCaster of Mobile, AL. and his brother, James David McCaster of Atmore, AL. He is survived by a devoted family, one brother, Douglas McMillian, Mobile, AL.; two sisters, Mamie (Curtis) Michael, Mobile, AL. and Henrietta McCaster; one sister-in-law, Bertha McMillian; five nephews, Tyrone McMillian, Douglas McMillian Jr. all of Mobile, AL., Anthony (Yolanda) McMillian, Chicago, IL., Sylvester (Sarah_Elaine) Jones II, Atlanta, GA., Darrin Sylvester, Mobile, AL.; four nieces Delores Davis, Cassandra (Richard) Crenshaw, Sylvia (Sedric) Woods, and Kim McMillian all of Mobile, AL.; cousin, Josephine Williams, Dayton, OH. And a host of extended relatives and devoted friends, Finest Nickerson, Betty C. Lucy, Martha Wolfe, Frances Lewis and Susie Jackson. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 27, 2010 after 9:00 a.m. and the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at the Small's Mortuary Chapel, Mobile, AL.
