Obituary for Juanita Knight Sanders

Mrs. Juanita Elizabeth Knight Sanders was born on May 21, 1935 and departed this life on January 8, 2014. She was a native of Coy, AL. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Johnnie Lee Sanders, Sr. Juanita best know as Nita moved to Moss Point, MS to live and remained there until the Lord called her home. She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Knight and Gracie Huff Knight, brothers; Horace, Charlie and Willie Henry Knight, sisters; Barbara Jean Knight and Sarah Knight Greenwood. She accepted Christ at an early age. She was member of St. Peter Baptist Church and later moved her membership to Aimwell Baptist Church (Reverend Michael Jackson) where she remained a member until her health failed. She leaves to cherish her loving memories six (6) loving and devoted children; Charles (Doreen) Knight of Springfield, MA, Gerald B. Sanders, Anthony J. (Jessica) Sanders, George D. Sanders all of Mobile, AL. Johnny L. Sanders, Jr., of Minneapolis, MN, and Lorie Sanders (Leon) Wells of Moss Point, MS, two brothers; Elder Joseph (Lula) Knight and Lloyd (Daisy) Knight of Lower Peach Tree, AL. Nine (9) grandchildren and three (3) great-grandchildren; three devoted, Charles J. Hill, Anthony J. Robinson and Brittany Jordan all of Mobile, AL. One devoted sister-in-law; Julia B. Coleman and the entire Coleman family, one devoted niece; Michelle Rumph, two devoted cousins; Annie Laura Boone and Rosie Hines, two devoted friends; Willie Newson and Sarah Scott of Mobile, AL as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Aimwell Missionary Baptist Church, 500 Earle St., Mobile, AL 36603.
