Obituary for Kendrick Barren

Kendrick Jerome Barren - A residence of Daphne, Alabama, was born January 11, 1982, in Mobile, Alabama. Passed this life on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital surrounded by family and friends. He was the oldest son of Lee and Hermione Barren. He graduated from Daphne High School in 2000. He was employed at FedEx in Mobile. He is survived by his parents, Lee and Hermione Barren of Daphne, Al. His brother, Lee Jr. of Daphne. Maternal grandparents, Herman and Janie Greene of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Paternal grandparents, Lee and Janie Barren of Mobile. Five aunts, Isa Greene of Columbia, S.C., Deloris (Johnny) Powell, Nancy (Ellis) Fancher, Mary (Marzett) Harris of Mobile. Christine (Andrew) Douglas of Baton Rouge, La. Two uncles, Herman Greene Jr of Columbia, S.C. and Bernard (Donna) Barren of Dallas, Tx. A grand-aunt Brenda (Edward) Bright, numerous cousins two devoted Nicole (Bennie) Hooker of New Orleans, La., Melissa Bright of Birmingham, Al. A host of loving and supportive grand-aunts, grand-uncles, cousins and friends. One devoted Janel Johnson of Mobile. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday June 5, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 10:00 a.m on Saturday June 6, 2009 at the Mt. Aid Baptist Church in Daphne until the 1:00 p.m. funeral hour. Rev. George Collins pastor and officiating minister. Interment will follow in the Mt. Aid Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
