Obituary for Kevin V. Hayes

Kevin V. Hayes, July 8, 1961 – March 17, 2015 Lovingly known as Nonie, Jug head, Old Man and Hootie, Kevin passed away peacefully in his sleep at home. He was a gentle spirited man with a great sense of humor, a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish in Maysville, and a 1980 graduate of Williamson High School. He attended Carver State Technical College, earned certification as an Automotive Paint and Body Technician and worked at Bay City Paint and Body, Bay City RV, Affordable Paint and Body and Neighbor’s Seafood Restaurant until his health began to decline. He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Hayes II; grandparents, Will McSwain, Mamie Taylor McSwain, Clinton Hayes I and Sayde Hayes. His memory will be cherished by daughters, Kiara Hayes and Karon Hayes; mother, Lillie Hayes; brothers, Michael Hayes and Clinton Hayes III (Danita); sisters, Cheryl Fitts, Anita Lott (Willie), and Tara Mackie (Kendrick); daughters' mother, Rosie Hayes along with many relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 2pm until 6 pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish 1703 Dublin St. Mobile, AL. Rev. Stephen Sohe, officiating. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Cemetery. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ARE ENTRUSTED TO SMALL’S MORTUARY, 950 S. BROAD ST. MOBILE, AL.
