Larry Donald  Curry
Larry “Catfish” Curry, a native of Mobile,AL, was born May 17, 1951 and departed this life on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. He was a 1969 graduate of Trinity Gardens High School and a 20 year retired veteran of the United States Air Force and U.S. Postal Service Consecutively.

He was as preceded in death by his parents, Buster and Lula Mae Curry; and five siblings, Angela Curry, Ernest Curry, Helen Jones, Dorothy Matthews, and Robert Curry.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Washington Curry; five children, Shannon (Bryan) Love, of Hanford, California; Kevin Curry, of Denver, Colorado; Tomatra (T.J.) Westry, Latasha Williams and Llawana Williams, of Mobile; seven grandchildren, one devoted, Marleigh Johnson; three brothers, Leroy (Elaine) Curry, Bobby and Reginald Curry; four sisters, Margaret Curry, Lula Curry, Patricia (Kenneth) Sims and Linda (Joseph) Johnson, all of Mobile; one other brother-in-law, Johnny Glover Mathews, Mobile; one sister-in-law, Ann Curry of Sacramento, California; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, devoted, Leo Leatherwood.

His remains will lie in state 1-8pm Wednesday, July 18, 2017 at Small's, Mobile. A visitation will held from 9am until the 10am funeral hour at Mount Hebron Church Ministries - Bright Spot, 2531 Berkley Avenue, Mobile, AL.

Interment will follow in the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL.
