The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Obituary for Larry McMillian Sr.

Larry McMillian Sr., a lifelong resident of Mobile, died Jan. 22 at an area hospital. He was 55. McMillian was the owner of Mack Car Shop. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Marie McMillian; four daughters, Latrina McMillian, Latressa McMillian, Yasmir McMillian and Yolanda McMillian; five sons, Larry McMillian Jr., LaShane McMillian, LaShoan McMillian, Rashorn McMillian and Shaquil McMillian; two sisters, Mae Grimes and Rose Thames; one brother, Herman Coleman; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Mount Zion Baptist Church No. 2, 1109 Baltimore St. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
