Obituary for Levi Taylor Sr.

Mr. Levi Taylor Sr.- A native of Selma, AL and resident of Mobile, AL was born September 15, 1917 and departed this life on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army World War II, and a retired Mechanist. He is survived by ten children, Kenneth Taylor of Detroit, MI, Beatrice (Abe) Bouie, Patricia (John) Mickles, Helen Taylor, Rose Mary Taylor, Levi Taylor Jr., Curtis Taylor, Marshall Taylor, Sherita (Ceasar) Gooden, and Pam (Brian) Gross all of Mobile, AL. A host of grandchildren and other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state on Friday, April 16, 2010 after at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 505 North Price Avenue, Prichard, AL. The family will receive friends from 10:30 til the 11:00 a.m funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery with Military Honors.
