Obituary for Lillian Crayton Walker
Lillian Crayton Walker "Aunt Lil" Age 87, died November 16, 2016, She was a retired Mobile County Public School Educator. She was a member and deaconess of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her precious memories two nephews and devoted caregivers that she raised as her children, Dr. James E. Crayton, Los Angeles, CA; Bennie Crayton, Ventura, CA; two sisters-in-laws Maggie (Rufus) Crenshaw, Brooklyn, NY and Mary Wilton, Cypress, CA; one brother-in-law and Theodore (Lynette) Walker, Orange Park, FL: five god-children, Eric O’Neal, Washington, DC; Walter Moore, and Traci Blakely, both of Mobile, Al; Stephanie Tartt and Raymond Tartt, Jr., Orlando, FL.
Her remain will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from lpm until 5pm and continued Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 9 a.m. at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, 451 Weinacker Avenue. The family will receive friends from 10:30am until 11am funeral hour at which time Pastor, Dr. Alvin Cleveland, will conduct the funeral service. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
