Obituary for Lisa Carroll-Taylor

Lisa Marie Carroll-Taylor - was born April 21, 1975, in Mobile, AL, to the union of John and Ruby Carroll. She was a resident of Spanish Fort, AL and departed this life on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in Spanish Fort. She was reared in Spanish Fort, AL; she attended elementary and high school in Daphne. Lisa was baptized at an early age at Mt. Aid Missionary Baptist Church in Daphne where she participated in various youth activities until becoming a young adult. She united with and has been a member of the Inner City Church of Christ of Mobile for the past two years. She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Terrance Taylor, of Spanish Fort, and his father, Robert T. Taylor, of Mobile; father and mother, John (Ruby) Carroll, Sr., of Spanish Fort; two brothers, John Carroll, Jr., and Cedric Carroll, both of Mobile, AL; brother-in-law, Larry Franklin of Spanish Fort; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends - one devoted, "Misty." Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Thursday, August 20, 2009 from 1:00PM until 8:00PM and after 9:00AM on Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Inner City Ministry Church, 1007 Government St., Mobile until the 11:00AM funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Mt. Aide Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
