Obituary for Llyod Edward Beard

Lloyd E. Beard a native of Mobile, AL passed away May 6, 2015 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA at the age of 60. He graduated from Murphy High School in 1972. He worked in the collision and detailing industry for over 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruby Beard, two sisters, Helen Pope and Ruby Womack, two brothers, James Beard, Jr. and Earl Ross. He leaves to cherish his memories, his son, Darnell Perkins; a loving granddaughter, Darnisha Perkins; four sisters, a very loving and devoted sister, Joyce Beard, Catherine (Clinton) Williams, Joann (Freddie) Mitchell and Mary Mitchell; a host of nieces, Daisy, Shelia, Eunice, Betty, Shelia, Brenda, Regina and Taffy; nephews, James (Raquel) Moore, Willie Jones, Edward Ross, Cleophus Ross, Ronald Jackson and Charles Womack, Jr.; devoted cousins, John Beard and Theresa Beard; a loving companion, Annette Solid; three devoted friends, Wendall Noland, Georgia, Ollie Koger and Hank Chaney. His remains will lie in state on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 5pm until 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 9am until 11am funeral hour at St. James Missionary Baptist Church 2486 St. James Ave. Mobile, AL.
