Lola Mae ""MaDear" Sylvester, devoted mother and homemaker passed on Thursday, October 15, 2009. She was born on January 17, 1935 to Mr. Frank Poole and Mrs. Annie Bell Sims. Mrs. Sylvester was a giving woman, she donated to various charities and was a denoted member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, a daughter of Elks and the Rainbow Civic and Social Club. She is survived by her mother, Annie Bell Sims and six children, Sharron S. Franklin, Robert, Carol, Cornelius Jr., Tony Sr. (Ute), Carmen Sylvester, two sisters, Brenda Singh, Zenobia Reese, two devoted godchildren Milton Todd and Gaylen Stubbs, fourteen grandchildren Edsel Jr., Eric Jr., Damon Sr., Shedrick Sr., Jessica, Tony Jr., Keshia, Kendra, Cori, Carmisha, Ca'Ron, Serendipity, Caylen, Theloniods, grand godchild, Jasmine Carter, nineteen great grandkids, one devoted aunt, Mrs. Lucille Sparks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Small's Mortuary Chapel in Mobile, Alabama. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, Alabama.
