Obituary for Louise Pettway

Mrs. Louise P. Pettaway-- 90 a native of Camden, AL., and a resident of Mobile born April 8, 1918 departed this life Monday, December 22, 2008. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Baptist Church, Mobile. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rose P. Irons. She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters, Dorothy Huggins, Brooklyn, NY., Ellen (Clennon) Turner, Deborah (Wayne) Matchett and Barbara (Jerry) Shelly, all of Mobile, son, Arthur (Verniece) Pettaway, East Point, GA., thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Katie Lynch, Auburn, AL., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends two cherished, Martha Kyle and Eloise Gardner. Services will be Monday, December 29, 2008 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour St. Josepah Baptist Church, Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL 36603.
