Lucille W. Edmond “GaGa” was born February 27, 1936 and passed away at a local hospital on May 1, 2015 at the age of 79. She was a faithful member of Word Alive Christian Life Ministries. She was preceded in death her parents, Rev. Nathaniel and Mary Washington, husband, George Edmond, Sr., sons, Ronnie Boone, George Edmond, Jr., Harry Edmond and Henry Edmond, son-in-law, Jesse Davis, Sr., grandson Christopher Davis, brother, Joseph Freeman Washington and aunt, Bessie Lee Smith. She leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted and dedicated daughters, Joyce Ann Davis, Jackie Phillips, Juanita Boone, Evelyn Wilson and Betsy Boone; devoted sons, Greg (Lori) Boone and Donald (Sabrina) Boone; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren, many devoted, Dione (Mark) Taylor, Jesse (Dallas) Davis, Jr., Lonnie (Jennifer) Rivers, Tanika Woodard, Latasha Martin, W. Steve (Vernessa) Porter, Angelia (Winfred) Moorer, Candi (Kenneth) Nettles-Harris, Samatha Nettles-Davis, Antonio Boone, LaKizzy (Marc) Williams, Nancy Averhart, Sevena Williams, Santasia Williams, Raven Woodard, Dasia Woodard, Chelsa Williams, Chicara Averhart, Orlando Davis, Ulysses Woodard, Taliyah Nettles, Joshua Davis, Herdrix Boone Glover, Demeterius Davis, Teyonna Nettles, Ethan Williams Wallace, Justin Taylor, Rachel Todd, Jamiya Williams, Aliyah Shinn, Kiarah Sashington. Her remains will lie in state on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 1pm until 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 12noon until the 2pm funeral hour at Word Alive Christian Life Ministries 2720 Government St. Mobile, AL. interment will follow in Lawn Have Cemetery, Theodore, AL.
