Obituary for Lucille Baby Levins Sister

Mrs. Lucille Simon Levins, "Baby Sister", was born to the union of the late John H. Simon Sr. and Bessie Davis Simon on December 29, 1929 in Mobile, Alabama and departed this life on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at her residence. She was a member of Wellington Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Willamenia Rodgers and Ann Simon Davis. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Andretta Robinson and Cheryl Renee Levins both of Mobile, one son, Dr. Burl (Kathleen) Levins of Columbus, GA, three sisters, Doris Thornton and Bessie Mae Williams both of Mobile and Betty Jean (Pastor J.C.) Lee of Talledega, AL, one brother, John H. (Brenda) Simon Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2009 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at the True Word Church Ministry, 1315 St. Stephens Road. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Cemetery. Dignified and professionals services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, Alabama.
