Obituary for Lucious Mean Creagh

Lucious Mean Creagh of Mobile passed away peacefully on January 27, 2016. He was born in Lamison, AL on March 20, 1935 and was a member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Lee Creagh, Sr. and his mother, Helen Lucile Creagh, brothers, Vincent Creagh, Alphonse Creagh, Willie Lee Creagh and Samuel Creagh and one sister, Dorothy Creagh McCromwell.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife Hazel Creagh; sons, Lucious (Brittany) Creagh, Jr. of Mt. Vernon, AL, Labary and Laboris Creagh of Mobile, AL, Antonio (Sonja) Bendolph and Andrea Bendolph of Washington, DC; daughters, Elinda (Cliff) Ware of Citronella, AL, Leila (Leonard) Jackson, Barbara (Carl) Gates of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Tonya Bendolph of Prichard, AL; four brothers, Livington (Carolyn) Creagh, Alvin Creagh of Mobile, AL and Earl (Shirley) Creagh of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Marion (Clifford) Williams of Cleveland, OH and Glady Williams of Atlanta, GA; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Geraldine Creagh of Cleveland, OH and Adella Stafford, Truzella Braggs of Mobile, AL; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Alicia) Bendolph of Mobile, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special thanks to Springhill Home Health and Hospice.
His remains will lie in state on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 1pm until 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 1712 Chestang Ave. Prichard, AL. Pastor Billy F. King, Jr. officiating, Apostle Carl D. Bolden. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
