Obituary

Marco “CoCo” Thurman a life long resident of Mobile, AL departed this life on Wednesday, Feb

February 19, 2020 at Mobile Infirmary Hospital, where he was surrounded by his loving

Family and dearest friends. He was born in Mobile, Alabama on May 10, 1953 to James

And Theresa Thurman, he was the second of five children. He accepted Christ as an early

age and was baptized by the late Rev. G.L. King.



Marco was a 1971 graduate of Murphy High School, after graduation he joined the United

States Army where he served four years.



Marco was preceded in death by his brother Melvin Mayhand Jr., sister Jeanette Houston,

Annette Holcombe.



He leaves to cherish with his memories, two loving and devoted sisters, Blondina Boggs

And Kathy Thurman of Mobile, AL. A very devoted brother-in-law Leonard Houston Sr.

Seven devoted nieces, Tonya (Lonnie) Malone, Angela (Paul)Boggs, Theresa (Brian) Mosley,

Alexandria Boggs, Alexis Boggs, Mikelle Holcombe, Kayla Holcombe. Eight devoted

nephews, Eddie Boggs III, Leonard Houston Jr., Christopher (Candace) Houston,

Justin Boggs, Jaylen Boggs, Jason Boggs, Travon Malone, Raylyn Harris and a host of

great nieces and nephews, cousins and many family friends.

To the family,
I want to extend my sincere condolences to you in the loss of your brother Marco. I knew all of you many years ago from Little Welcome and I am so sorry to hear of Marco's passing. You are truly in my prayers.
