Obituary for Margaret Pettaway
Mrs. Margaret L. Pettaway-- a native of Baldwin County, and a resident of Mobile born August 31, 1947 departed this life Sunday, December 16, 2007 at UAB hospital, Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alexander, John E. Jr. and Larry Turner. She leaves to cherish her memories six children, Teresa T. (Harold) Sledge, Daphne, Willie (Santia) , Jacksonville, FL., and Craig Pettaway, Atmore, AL., Shirley Turner, Patricia (Kavin), and Pamela (Dorian) Pettaway, devoted parents, Mr. John and Mrs. Margaret, sister, Christine Turner, all of Mobile. eighteen grand, sixteen great-grands, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends, one very special, Johnny Williams, two devoted, Connie Hawthorne and Edith Thomas. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, December 21, 2007 from 1-8pm and Saturday, December 22, 2007 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Mt. Zion #2 Baptist Church. Interment Pine Crest Cemetery.
