Obituary for Marva Lee King

Ms. Marva Lee King born October 18, 1941, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died on November 10, 2014. She worked a lifelong career of caring and serving others. She ended her working career and retired from Mercy Medical. Since early childhood, she was a member of The Greater Morning Star Baptist Church of Mobile, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph King Sr, and Mariah Blackston King, nine siblings, Robert, Raymond, Rudolph Jr., Connie, Rosemary, Grayce, Katie, Annie Pearl, and John Henry, Sr. She is survived by three devoted children, Lawrence (Elaine) King, Shelia D. Tribbitt, both of Mobile, AL, and Gregory (Michele) King of Cordova, TN; four sisters, Myrtle (Rogers) Stigall of Brooklyn, NY, Patricia Wallace, Antoinette (Richard) Blakely, Linda (Charles) Hill and one brother, George (Robia) Ealey, all of Mobile, AL; six grandchildren, Ramona (Victor) Rutledge, LaTosha (Gerald) West, Minister Lawrence Darrone King, Elder Santwan Wiley, all of Mobile, AL; Teokie (Reginald) Winchester of Tampa, FL and Petty Officer 2nd Class Shiako King of Jacksonville, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at The Greater Morning Star Baptist Church 401 Donald St. Mobile, AL.
