Obituary for Mary Darrington

Mrs. Mary Jordan Darrington - A lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama. Born February 5, 1954, she quietly exchange this life for eternal joy on Monday, May 4, 2009. She was preceded in death by her grandparents J.C. and Lovie Mae Laffitte and father Lawrence Dew Jr. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church Carver Home and a former employee of USA medical Center. She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted mother Mary Ann Dew, Mobile, Alabama. A loving ex-husband Roderick Darrington. A loving devoted daughter Erica Jordan and a loving son Alfred Jordan Jr. Two loving sisters Vivian (Alton) Fore of Mobile. Francine Dew of Connecticut. One brother Charlie Hollinger. Four loving grandchildren Brandon, Loren, Lexis and Ashtyn. Two devoted nephews Derrick (Renee) Blackmon and Andre Blackmon. A loving niece Raesha Clanton. A loving devoted aunt Mable Jackson. One devoted God-brother Patrick (Harriette) Ely. Visitation will be held on Saturday May 9, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon funeral hour at the EL Bethel Primitive. Baptist Church, Rev. Jonathan Yates, Pastor, with the Rev. Anthony Shutes officiating. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery Mobile. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
