MARY ELIZA HOSEA JACKSON A native of Marengo County a resident of Theodore, Alabama born May 23, 1936 departed this life on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of fifty three years Artis Jackson, Sr. She was a faithful member of Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church. Mary is survived by nine (9) children - Artis (Elizabeth) Jackson, Jr., San Antonio, TX; Carolyn Kelly, Cedric (Brenda) Jackson, Valarie (Patrick) Sullivan, Linell (Marilyn) Jackson, Theodore, AL; Brenda (Gordon) Gray, Rose (Raphael) Falu, Bobby (Myra) Jackson, Mobile, AL; Antoinette (Carl) Sullivan, Melbourne, FL. Nineteen (19) grandchildren, Twenty-four great grandchildren. Two sisters, one brother a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, May 1, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at 7000 Bellingrath Road, Theodore, AL. The Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church 5201 Washington Blvd., Theodore, AL. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Dignified and Professionals services entrusted to Small's Mortuary 7000 Bellingrath Rd, Theodore, AL.
