Obituary for Mary Mitchell

Mrs. Mary Mitchell-- A native of Linden, AL and a resident of Mobile, born May 23, 1922 departed this life Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Prince; brother, Henry Poellnitz; sister, Lela Weddington; uncle and aunt, Archie and Nancy Turner. She leaves to cherish her memories sister, Eula Pierce; six nieces, Viola Pettaway, Mildred and Sharon Pierce, Juliet Lucius, and Betty Cunningham, all of Mobile, Delores Sylvester, Sacramento, CA; three nephews, Jimmie, Todd and Michael (Daphne) Pierce, all of Mobile; a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, one devoted friend, Angela Smith. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, January 18, 2008 from 1-8pm and Saturday, January 19, 2008 after 11am until the 1pm funeral hour. Interment Gethsemane, Mobile. Dignified and professional services entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY 950 S. Broad St. Mobile.
