Obituary for Mary Maylee Morrissette

Mary L." Maylee" Morrissette-- a native of Montrose, Mississippi and a resident of Mobile born November 19, 1953 to the late Laura Evans and Odell Gray, departed this life Tuesday, September 23, 2008. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Evans. She was a loyal member of the Greater Mt. Zion #2 Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the W.L. Wortham Chorus. She leaves to cherish her memories two loving and devoted sons, Maurice Morrissette and Lamont Gray, two sisters one devoted and caregiver, Annie McCullum, all of Mobile, and Ruth Evans, Erie, PA., brother, Charlie Evans, Hattiesburg, MS., a host of nieces one devoted, Pamela (Richard) Grant, Hattiesburg, MS., nephews, two devoted, Jerry (Elizabeth) McCullum and Mitchell (Patsy) Evans, both of Mobile, cousins, one devoted, Gloria Jean Wash, Laurel, MS., other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, September 26, 2008 from 1-8pm and Saturday, September 27, 2008 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Greater Mt. Zion #2 Missionary Baptist Church, Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile AL 36605.
