Obituary for Master Kristopher Porter

Master Elijah Kirstopher Porter - a native and resident of Mobile born September 9, 2005, departed this life suddenly Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Felix Avery. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted family his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William and Deidra Porter Jr., sister, Jalesia K. James, three brothers, William Alex, William H. III and Dierich W. Porter, grandparents, William (Donnie) Porter Sr., Carol James, Lionel Houze, and Evangelist Annie Avery, great-grandmother, Edward (Delmar) Warmack, all of Mobile, a host of aunts, three devoted, Dana James, Stephaine Porter and Venita Warmack, uncles, one devoted Christopher Porter, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors of McArthur Street. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Monday, August 11, 2009 from 1-8pm and Tuesday, August 11, 2009 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour St. Paul AME Church, 1251 Rev. A. T. Days Street, Rev. R. L. Holsey, Pastor and Officiating Minister. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL.
