Obituary for Mattie Jackson

Mattie K. Jackson -- A native of Monroeville, AL. and a resident of Theodore, born May 18, 1931, to the late Joe and Arthurine Kyles, departed this life to be with Christ Thursday, January 3, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Jackson, four brothers Charles, Eddie (Pat), Joe Kyles Jr., and Jimmy (Deloris) McCants, sister, Rennie (Oscar) Williams. She committed her life to Christ at an early age. She leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Pinkie Perry, Gloria Casher, both of Theodore, AL., and Sharon Perry, Mobile, two sons, Isaiah Perry, Theodore, AL., and Matthew (Janice) Perry, Jackson, MS., two sisters, Allie (Charlie) Woodard of Eight Mile and Nancy Blackmon of Theodore; three brothers, Oscar (Creola) and Walter Kyles of Theodore and Rev. George Kyles of Mobile; sister-in-law, Zellaraine Kyles of Harlem, GA; Uncle Pete (Mae) Kyles of Detroit, MI and Aunt Emma Kyles of Atlantic City, NJ; a host of grands, great grands, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state Tuesday, January 8, 2008 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Texas St. Rev. James Murphy pastor and officiating minister.
