Obituary for Merrick Brown

Merrick (Mike) Brown - A native of Andalusia, AL and a resident of Wyandanch, NY was born April 12, 1941 and passed Saturday June 14, 2008. He was a graduate of the St. Elmo High School class of 1959. He was preceded in death by parents Henry(Lelia) Brown. One sister Dorothy Jean Brown and brother Phillip Augustus Brown. He leaves to cherish his memeories three sons Roderick (Doll) Frison Mobile, AL, Michael McGuire, Chicago, IL, Joseph Brown Nashville, TN, Two daughters Lelia Regina brown, Glen Cove, NY, Grace brown Brooklyn, NY, Three brothers Henry (Gail) Brown, Herbert (Flora) brown, both of Birmingham, AL, James Charles Brown Wyandanch, NY, four sisters Patricia Brown Wyandanch, NY, Carolyn Young, Delray Beach, FL, Mary (Bobby) Gipson, Mobile, AL, Brendette (Timothy) Coffman, Birmingham, AL. Eighteen grandchildren, a host of devoted neices, nephews and friends. His remains will lie in state of Friday June 20, 2008 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Small's Mortuary (Theodore) and after 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at the Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary 7000 Bellingraph Rd. Theodore, AL 36582.
