Obituary for Michael Kirksey

Michael "Kirk" Kirksey - a native and resident of Mobile born November 6, 1974, A call from our Savior and Kirk answered on Sunday, April 8, 2007. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Murphy High School he continued his education at Bishop State Community College, and University of South Alabama He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Flora and uncle, Marshall Perry, William Steen and Cora Moore. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted mother, Mary Kirksey, three sisters, one devoted Janice Kirksey and Diane Kirksey, both of Mobile and Marcianna (LC) Rocker, Houston, TX; brother, Maurice (Danielle) Kirksey, Atlanta, GA; six great aunts, two great uncles, two neices one devoted Zatavia (Gilbert) Killings, Mobile, three nephews, devoted cousins, Hank (Grace) Bonner, Columbus, OH; a devoted friend, Stephanie Redd, Mobile. Special thanks to Drs. Meshad, Ashurst and Alsip and the staff at Springhill Memorial Hospital, ICU Unit especially nurse Cindy Bolley. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and words of comfort. Services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2007 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, Congress St. Interment in the Catholic Cemetery. Dignified and professional services are entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St, Mobile, AL
