Obituary for Mildred Daffin

Mrs. Mildred Nola Daffin-- a native of Deckerd, TN., and a resident of Mobile for fifty-eight years. One of ten children born March 9, 1934 to the late Jack and Queenie Johnson she departed this life for eternity Friday, March 6, 2009 at her home. She was united in holy matrimony to Grady Daffin and to this union nine children were born. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sisters, and two brothers. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Grady Daffin Sr., five sons one very devoted and caregiver, Albert Daffin Sr., Grady (Mary) Daffin, Jr. Phillip Daffin, Quinley Daffin, all of Mobile and Darryl (Theresa) Daffin Sr., Charleston, SC., four daughters one special devoted, Carolyn (Charles) Robertson, Joann (Rev. W.L.) Harris, Deborah (Emmanuel) Wright and Gayla (Timothy) Cunningham, all of Mobile, five sisters, brother, all of TN., devoted son-in-law, Charles Robertson, Sr., Mobile, fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 1-8pm and Thursday, March 12, 2009 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Adams St. Interment will follow in the Gethseamne Cemetery, Mobile Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad St. Mobile, AL. 36603
