Obituary for Milton Shinn

Milton Shinn, Jr., was born November 7, 1968 in Mobile, Alabama to the union of Milton Shinn, Sr. and Marie Shinn. He departed this life on Saturday, May 19, 2018.

Milton attended Mattie T. Blount High School.

For most of his adult life, Milton was a dedicated commercial tire technician. Over the years, he was employed with L&M Tires & Automotive Inc., TCi Tire Centers, McGriff Tire Company, and GCR Commercial Tires & Service. Milton lived a full and happy life, and he truly enjoyed the life he lived.

He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Shinn, Sr.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife: Cynthia Dunklin-Shinn; a devoted mother: Marie Shinn; daughter: Amanda (Ronald) Shinn-Dubuisson of Atlanta, GA.; son: Milton Shinn, III; stepdaughter: Kenesha Dunklin; stepson: Kendrick T. Dunklin, all of Mobile, Alabama; four siblings: Fanita (Freddie) Shinn-Brown of Orange Beach, AL, Terry Shinn, Leonardo Shinn, and Winston Hawkins, all of Mobile, AL.; a host of dedicated grandchildren, nieces, and nephews other relatives and friends.

His remains will lie in state on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5pm to 8pm at Smalls Mortuary, Mobile, Alabama. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 9am until 11am funeral hour at First Church Of God In Christ, 1308 St. Stephens Road, Mobile, Alabama. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Cemetery, Theodore, Alabama.
