Obituary for Minnie Pearl Merrills

Minnie Pearl Merrills was born on June 28, 1924 in Evergreen, AL. and passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2014. She was a faithful member of Truevine Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving daughter, Sidra (L.C.) Lyman; two granddaughters, Nakia Taylor and Skye Hoggard both of Albany, NY; one great grandson, Elgin Taylor II of Albany, NY; three sisters, Dorothy Byrd, Novella Horton both of Mobile, AL and Martha Drakeford of Evergreen, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Her remains will lie in state on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 1pm until 8pm at Small?s Mortuary, Mobile. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Truevine Missionary Baptist Church 1850 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL?S MORTUARY 950 SOUTH BROAD ST. MOBILE, AL.
