Obituary for Missionary M. Pettiway

Missionary Helen M. Pettiway, a native of Mobile, Al. was born August 26, 1951 and departed this life for eternity Sunday, December 6, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband Elijah Pettiway, parents Mr. Aaron Mose Sr., Mrs. Mary Mose, and brother Mr. Claudzell Mose. She leave to cherish her memories three very devoted children James L. Harris, Merry A. Harris, and Angelia (Corey) McCoy; three sisters Mary J. Taylor, Corene Johnson (Marvin Jackson) a native of Gosprt, AL. and resident of Mobile, AL., Carolyn Mose; two brothers, Andrew Mose and Aaron Mose Jr.; four grandchildren, Jamarcus, Jamal, Jermaine McCoy, and James L. Harris II; a devoted friend Mr. Aubrey Dees. A host of aunts, nephews, nieces and friends. Her remains will lie in state Friday, December 11, 2009 at Small's Mortuary from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 12, 2009 after 9:00 a.m. at Word of God Church, 6455 Overlook Rd., Mobile, AL. Apostle Ronald Allen Sr. pastor, with homegoing services immediately following at the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour. Elder Shirley Pettaway officiating. Interment will follow at the Mackey Branch #1 Cemetery, Hwy 84, Gosport, AL. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, AL.
