Obituary for Mother Pollard Jones

Mother Margaret Pollard Jones-- a native and resident of Mobile born August 12, 1911 departed this life Monday, June 22, 2009. She was a member of Joy Tabernacle Full Gospel under the leadership of her son and a former member of Christ Temple Apostolic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dea. Henry H. Jones Sr., daughters, Evangelist Janice Braxton, Mary Otis-Moody and Carolyn B. Jones. She leaves to cheish her precious memories a loving and dedicated son, Pastor Henry(Ola) Jones Jr., Mobile, a loving daughter, Mrs. Sandra Kemp, Rochester, MN., fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, newphews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, Mercy Medical Hospice and Cogburn Health and Rehabilitation Midtown, for the care and support of our loved one. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, June 26, 2009 from 1-8pm and Saturday, June 27, 2009 after 10am until the 11am funeral hour at Holy Church Of God, 2115 N. Demotropolis Rd., Bishop Walter Betts Pastor and Officiating Minister. Interment will follow in the Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 Broad St. Mobile, AL.
