Obituary for NAPOLEON WHITE (POPO)

Mr. Napoleon Vancleve White, (PoPo) a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL was born on May 9, 1955. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. He served in the United States Marine Corps as a sergeant for four years. He attended Williamson High School, the Class of 1974. He was preceded in death by his father, Napoleon Williams; stepfather, Willie L. Johnson; grandfather and grandmother, Deacon Willie B. and Willie Mae White; uncles Willie White Jr. and Tommie L. White. He is survived by three daughters, Flonetta White, Floretta Colson and Sandra (Quincy) Artis; and one stepson Emanuel Pringle, all of Raleigh, NC; a devoted mother Florida M. Johnson; four sisters Van Doris White, Sabina Williams, Floredia Fryer, and Addie (Aundra) Chaney; six grandchildren; an aunt, Bessie Reese; a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 9 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at Smalls Mortuary Chapel, 950 South Broad Street, Mobile, AL. Interment in the Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens, Theodore, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 SOUTH BROAD STREET, MOBILE, AL 36603.
