Obituary for Ora Clay-Henderson

Mrs. Ora Lee Clay Henderson, was born on September 8, 1933 in Selma, AL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at a local hospital. She was the daughter of Leon Clay and Mary Ann Harrell Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Henderson; sister, Lucille Brown; and son, Reginald Foster. She is survived by two daughters, Rosalind Gray, Manhattan, NY, and Rita (Rev. George) Henderson, Sr., Mobile, AL. Grandchildren, Derrick (Monay) Grey, Calera, AL, Darryl (Kenya) Koins, Sr., Lawrenceville, GA., Dildra (Michael) Daniels, Sr., Joycelyn (Lewis) Mason, George Henderson, all of Mobile, AL, Saddia Henderson, Buffalo, NY. 17 grandchildren, one great great grandchild. Two sisters; four brothers; Uncle, Earnest Clay and Aunt, Sadie Clay both of Selma, AL. Nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, January 15, 2010 from 1:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. and on Saturday, January 16, 2010 after 11:00a.m. at the Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 863 Summerville Street, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in the Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 SOUTH BROAD STREET, MOBILE, AL.
