Obituary for Parilee Orlander Reynolds
.Parilee Orlander Reynolds, age 90, was born on January 9, 1928. A native and life-long resident of Mobile, Alabama, gained her wings on Saturday, April 21, 2018. She dedicated most of her life to serving the community through volunteer work and helping any person who crossed her path in need.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Leonard and Lula Black; brother: Freddie Lee Black; and son: Joseph P. Reynolds, Sr.
She is survived by her sister: Della Mae Charles of Houston, Texas; two grandsons: Joseph P. (Gloria) Reynolds, Jr. and Samuel (Catherine) Roberts, Jr.; eleven great-grandchildren; three devoted: Aerryalle (Skyler) Bell, Demarcus Reynolds, and Joseph P. Reynolds, III; two nephews: Freddie L. (Patricia) Black and Larry Black; a host of other relatives and friends.
Her remains will lie in state on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 1-8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at New Shiloh Baptist Church, 2756 Old Shell Road, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
