The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Obituary for Paulette Bennett

Paulette Rogers Bennett, a member of Mount Hebron Life Center, died Jan. 9 at a local hospital.

Bennett was a native and resident of Mobile.

Survivors include one son, Edward James Rogers; and two daughters, Carolyn Kim and Cathy Rogers, all of Mobile; two brothers, Larry Rogers of Cleveland and Harold Rogers of Evergreen; five sisters, Mary Lee Bonner, Erma Clark and Bettie Dean, all of Mobile, Annette Reid of Detroit and Mary Hunter of Orlando, Fla.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Small's Mortuary on South Broad Street. A second visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral at Mount Hebron Life Center on Berkley Avenue. Burial will be in Whispering Pines Cemetery in Eight Mile.
