Obituary for Pearlie Cain-Jefferson

Pearlie Mae Cain Jefferson-- a native of Selma, AL. and a resident of Mobile, born February 19, 1928 to the late Willie and Carrie Cain, departed this life Saturday, November 3, 2007. She was preceded in death by her eldest child, Carrie L. Jefferson, five brothers, Lawerence Gardner, Bobby, Willie, Arthur and James Cain, sister, Queenie Reese. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Robert Harris, Charlotte, Willie, Betty and Earnest Jefferson, two extended children, Warren and Darshay Thompson, lifelong companion, Amos Tripp, all of Mobile, sister, Malinda (Lee Mitchell) Pittman, Brown, AL., two brothers, Elbert Gardner, Mobile and Tobie Cain, San Francisco, CA., nineteen grands, twenty-six great- grands, three great, great-grands, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary, Friday, November 9, 2007 from 1-8pm and Saturday, November 10, 2007 after 12:30pm until the 1pm funeral hour Truelight Missionary Baptist Church, Prichard. Interment Whispering Pines.
