Obituary for Phalisa Miller

Phalisa Renee Miller, 44, was born November 14, 1967 and departed this life on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at her residence. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Barbara Smith, her father, Wiley Smith, one son, James Franklin, five brothers, Derrick (Lisa) Smith, Bobby Smith, Wiley Smith Jr., all of Mobile, Alabama, Marcus Smith, Corey Smith of California, seven sisters, Trina (Sam) Small, Shavonna Smith, Sharen Smith, all of Mobile, Alabama, Karen Smith of Orlando Florida, Shakira Smith, Faith Smith, Brittney Smith all of California, three aunts, Belle (Arthel) Peterson, Lois Williams, Ira Lee Pettway, four uncles, Anthony Williams, Willie Smith, James Smith, Richard Smith, all of Mobile, Alabama. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Two devoted friends, Gee Gee Dickenson and Thomas (Gene) Gill. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour at Christ Temple Apostolic Church, 801 Virginia St. in Mobile. Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, Alabama.
