Prince " PaLuke" Washington, Sr-- a native of Dallas County and a resident of Mobile born June 16, 1930 departed this life Tuesday November 21, 2006 at a local hospital. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing a devoted wife, Irene Washington, five sons, David George (Patrice), Chicago, IL., Prince Jr, Eric (Carla), Levice (Cynthia) , all of Mobile, and Labarron (Denise) Washington, Marietta, GA., six daughters, Lelia (Marion) Collins, Galveston, TX., Eartha (Marcus) , Gladys (Curtis) Pettaway, Judy (Marion) Wright, all of Mobile, Rebecca (Johnny) Harris, Chicago, IL., and Shirley (Sidney) Murphy, Marietta, GA., three brothers George, John (Josephine) and Tom (Mary) Washington, all of New York, eighteen grands, a host of great-grands, two sisters-in-law, Mattie Cook and Cora Reed both of Mobile, two brothers-in-law, Mitchell (Barbara) Harris, Milwaukee, WI, and West Coleman, Mobile, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a devoted Joe Lee (Willie Mae) Lindsey, His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Friday, November 24, 2006 from 1-8pm and Saturday, November 25, 2006 after 10am until the 12noon funeral hour, St. Joseph Baptist Church, Broad St. Interment Gethsemane, Mobile
