Obituary for Queenie Reese

Queenie Reese - A native of Dallas County and a resident of Mobile was born July 6, 1917 departed this life on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at a local hospital. She was preceeded in death by her son Jessie Reese. She leaves to cherish two sons Walter (Linda) Reese and Edward Reese. 7 daughters, Carrie (Jimmy) Williams, Addie (Leroy) Carson, Pearlie Moffat, Lenese (Nelson) Johnson, Rosa (Ernest) Cowan, Dithornia Johnson, and Bernice Reese. 49 Grandchildren, 90 Great-Grandchildren, a host of Great-Great Grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday January 19, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and after 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 20, 2007 at the True Light Missionary Baptist Church, 2201 Main St. Rev. Michael Howard Pastor and officiating minister. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Dignified and professional services entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, 950 S. Broad St, Mobile, AL
