Obituary for Robert Clark (Pig) Sr.

Robert T. (Pig) Clark Sr., a native of Lower Peachtree, AL.; resident of Mobile, AL. for over fifty years exchanged time for eternity on December 27, 2009 surrounded by his family. He was born to Dossie Clark and Rosie Lee Johns on July 13, 1937 whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Johnson. He retired after 27 years of service at GAF Corporation. He leaves to cherish four daughters, Lowonda Clark of Prichard, AL., Rosie (Jessie) Crook of Foley, AL., Patricia Kennedy, and Linda (Charles) White of Mobile, AL.; two sons, Pastor Robert T. Clark Jr. and Tony Clark both of Mobile, AL.; children's mother, Lula Clark-Collins and friend Vivian Meriwether of Prichard, AL.; one god daughter, Elizabeth Wright of Dallas, TX.; one step-daughter, Gloretta Collins of Prichard, AL.; thirteen grandchildren, Rodmesia Clark of Houston, TX., Jeshua Crook and Conderidge Clark both of Foley, AL., Ezra Kennedy III, Samantha Clark, Twyla Parrish, Toni Parrish, Venshaun Dale, Sierra Dale, Brandon White, Charles White Jr. all of Mobile, AL.; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers; four sister-in-laws; four brother in laws, aunts, uncles, uncle-in-laws, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state on Saturday, January 2, 2009 after 9:00 a.m. at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 505 Price Avenue, Prichard, AL. The family will receive family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Whispering Pines Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad Street, Mobile, AL.
