Obituary for Robert Hayes Ealey Sr.

Robert (Earl) Hayes Ealey passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the age of 59. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Robert was born on October 25, 1956 in Lowndes County, Alabama to Hugh Ealey and the late Maggie Hale Ealey. He moved to Mobile, Alabama at the age of three. He graduated from Williamson High School and joined the United States Army. While stationed in Columbus, Georgia he met and married his loving wife, Fanessa Anderson Ealey. He retired after 24 years of service. After retiring he worked at Kysor Warren Refrigeration Company for 14 years in Georgia. He moved to Hattiesburg, Mississippi where he worked for 5 years at Berry Plastics Corp. until his sudden illness and demise. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Ealey, his grandparents John and Annabelle Ealey and Lou Emma Patton and Robert Hale of Fort Deposit, AL, his mother -in-law, Vivian Ambrose and his son, Treneal Harris He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Fanessa Ealey; three sons; Anthony Allen of Gautier, Ms., Donsha Harris of Mobile, AL, and Robert Ealey , Jr. of Columbus, GA.; one daughter, Lisa Ealey of Gautier, Ms.; eleven grandchildren, LaDon, Cameron, Shania, Ti’relle, Treveil, Donsha, Byrce, Tania, Tamia, Rashaud, and Anthony. His remains will lie in state on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 1pm until the 8pm at Small’s Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 from 9am until the 11am funeral hour at Small’s Mortuary, Chapel, Mobile, AL. Interment will follow in Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL. DIGNIFIED AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO SMALL’S MORTUARY 950 SOUTH BROAD ST. MOBILE, AL. 36603.
