Obituary for Robert Gulley Sr.

Robert T. Gulley Sr.-- 83 a native of Repton, AL. and a resident of Daphne, born October 31, 1925 departed this life Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at his residence. A devoted electrical engineer of Providence Hospital dedicating sixty-one years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Neomia H. Gulley, daughter, Neomia Hill Morgan, two sons, parents, Willie E. and Elvina M. Gulley, five brothers, John, James, Walter, William David, and Willie Gulley, sister, Eloise Gulley. He leaves to cherish his memories nine children, Florestine (Limuel) Thomas, Florence(Johnny) Talley, Robert Jr., Alvin , Christopher, Lewis and Una Gulley, Patricia (Sam) Bradley, all of Daphne and Arthur Gulley, Atlanta, two brothers, Judge (Marie) Gulley and Ben Gulley, both of Akron, OH., five sisters, Willie Pearl (James) Davidson and Clara Tolbert, both of Pensacola, Amanda (Matthew) Mims, Cornelia (Bishop Chester) Isabell and I. Delores (Jerry) Drone, all of Akron, OH., 19 grandchidren and 20 great grandchildren, two aunts, Early Ann Rankin, Moss Point, MS. and Lucy Gulley Johnson, Akron, OH., a host of niececs, nephews other relatives and friends. His remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from 1-8pm and Wednesday, November 19, 2008 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Daphne Interment will follow in the Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
