Obituary for Robert Doc McCoy Jr.

Robert "Bob" "Doc" McCoy, Jr.-- A native of Birmingham, AL. and a resident of Mobile and a former resident of New York for more than fifty years, departed this life Friday, March 7, 2008 at his residence. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of thirty-seven years, Bertha McCoy, daughter, Charlotte Warren, two brothers, Edward McCoy, both of Cinn, OH., and Albert (Robin) McCoy, Birmingham, six grands, brother-in-law, Alexander (Mary) White, four sisters-in-law, Brenda C. Poellnitz, Shirley (James) Session, Brenda Patterson, all of Mobile and Sherian Wright, Cleveland, OH., a host of nieces, nephews, three devoted, Daryl McCoy, Cinn, OH., Ralph Taylor, Houston, TX., and Darius Taylor, Mobile, godchildren, Eric and Tayler Austin, Zane Horn, Catina and Taylor, many friends, two devoted, Royal Dancy and Juan Jackson, all of Mobile. Visitation will be Saturday, March 15, 2008 after 9am until the 11am funeral hour Amity Baptist Church, 969 Donald St. Rev. H. L. Young officiating, Interment Gethsemane North. Dignified and Professional services entrusted to SMALL'S MORTUARY, INC. 950 South Broad St., Mobile, AL.
