Obituary for Roderick McNeil

Roderick DeRico McNeil Born Feb. 16, 1974, passed away Nov. 14, 2008 at a local hospital. He was a native of Prichard,Al. and a resident of Mobile, Al. He leaves to cherish his precious memories; a loving and devoted mother, Willie Ann McNeil, father Marion McNeil; three brothers, two devoted, Derrick and DeMarco McNeil of Prichard, Al., Takino Harris of Mobile; two sisters, Mario Burden and Frantisa Harris of Mobile. One loving niece, Madison McNeil of Montgomery, Al.; seven uncles, Earnest (Carolyn) Bennett of Selma, Al., Willie (Cloris) Johnson of Mobile, Al., James (Eve) and Milton(Rita) Bennett both of Birmingham, Al., Larry McNeil of California, Calvin and Eric McNeil of Mobile, Al.; eight aunts, Celia (Dannie) Lutin, Dorothy Diggs, Deborah Bennett, and Gloria (Michael) Jones, all of Mobile, Al., Lorene Wright of Chicago, Il., Christine Brown, Carolyn (Foster) Horn and Mable Murphy all of Mobile, Al. godmothers, Ceola McCann of Prichard, Al. and Diane Hall of Atlanta, Ga.. A host of other family and friends, too numerous to mention. Three devoted friends, Herbert Lewis, Tony Rockchild and Eric Lewis. Special thanks to family, friends and Auburn University Athletic Dept. for their care support during our time of grief. His remains will lie in state on friday Nov. 21, 2008 at Small's Mortuary from 1pm until 8pm and Satuday Nov 22, 2008 from 11am until the 1pm funeral hour.
