Mrs. Rose Mary Leatherwood Chambers (Moochie)- A native and resident of Mobile, AL. was born April 1, 1959, and exchanged life for eternity Thursday, February 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Rosa Leatherwood; brother, James Leatherwood; and a sister, Eunice Scott. She leaves to cherish her memories, two devoted children, Adrienna Leatherwood (Charles Penn, Jr.) and Damione (LaKishia) Chambers; twelve loving and devoted grandchildren; three devoted sisters, Shirley (Dea. Lonnie) Wilson, Gloria (Walter) Williams, and Amanda Leatherwood; a devoted brother, Silas Leatherwood III; brother-in-law, David (Patricia) Scott; uncles, aunts, several devoted nieces, nephews, devoted cousins, other family members and friends. A special thanks to Crowne Health Care. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary on Friday, February 26, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, February, 27, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon funeral hour at the Greater Mr. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 1305 Montrose Street, Mobile, AL. Rev. James Evans pastor and officiating minister. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Mobile AL.
