Obituary for Rose Jackson Daily

December 23, 1946 Rose Ann Dailey (Noonie) was born to the proud parents Dan Dailey and Rose Mary Dailey in Plateau, Alabama Rose was named after her mother Rose Mary Jackson Dailey (RoeMae).

Rose Ann accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age and continued in the faith until her demise. On February 13, 2016, our Heavenly Father needed another flower to adorn His garden, so He chose Rose, the most beautiful, caring, loving, and supportive one.

Rose Ann graduated from Trinity Gardens High School in Prichard, Alabama.

Rose Ann met Robert (Bobbie) Lewis Archie and they had one son Reginald Lewis Dailey together. In 1971, Rose Ann (Noonie) met Samuel Stone who she would marry and one Son Samuel Dailey (Player) was born to their union. They were married for 37 years until Sam Stone’s demise in 2008.

Rose Ann worked for the Mobile County Public School District for over 33 years, she enjoyed working with children, she was passionate about her responsibilities to the children of Mobile County, and she continued to work until she became too ill to continue.

Rose Ann, after a long hard fight was called home on February 13th 2016. She was preceded in death by her father Dan Dailey, mother Rose Mary Dailey, sister Nellie Mae Dailey Allwood, and brothers Dan Jr Dailey, and Jerry Wayne Dailey.

Rose Ann (Noonie) leaves behind to mourn her children: Reginald (Redbone) Dailey, and Samuel (Playa) Dailey, her grandchildren: Jessica Dailey, Sjockia Dailey, Ashley Lee, Raven Lee, Tiffany Dailey, Nadia Lee, Carolyn Dailey, Percy Dailey, and Shanya Dailey her sisters: Jackie Dailey, Glenda Dailey, Juanita Dailey, Sandra Dailey and Debra Sherman(Diamond) and brothers: Paris Dailey (Barbara), Richard Lee Dailey, Samuel Dailey, and Larry Dailey (Faye) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Her remains will lie in state on February 19, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Small's Mortuary, Mobile, AL. Visitation will be held February 20, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral hour at the House of Prayer Church located at 2102 Elaine Street, Prichard, AL.
