Obituary for Rose Duncan Lee

Sis. Rose Marie Duncan Lee-- a native of Fowl River, AL. and a resident of Mobile born February 26, 1940 to the late Samuel and Bessie Duncan departed this life for eternal rest Wednesday, June 17, 2009. She was a member of Revelation Missionary Baptist Church and a former member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Mobile. She was employed at Trinity Land Child Day Care Center, for over twenty years, she was also a retired School Traffic Officer for the Mobile Police Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lee, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories Vata Marie Johnson, Mobile and Denorris John (Chaka) Lee, Gulfport MS., three grandchildren, Asia Marie and John Anthony Lee and Avery Locket. three sisters, Lucille (Leroy) Williams, Fowl River, Jestina (David) Jones, Patricia (Vincent) Myles, both of Mobile, seven brothers, Samuel (Pauline), Stanley and Vinson Duncan, all of Fowl River, Mervin (Linda), Ivory (Terri), both of Mobile, Thomas, Montrose, AL., and Ricky (Margaret) Duncan, Grove Hill, AL., mother-in-law, Luella Lee, three sisters-in-law, Clara (Larry) Malone, Mobile, Amelia Jones, Greensboro, NC., and Louise Lee, Mobile, brother-in-law, Dan Lee, god daughter, LaKindra Lucy, three aunts, Dorothy, Ruth and Dora Woodard, all of Fowl River, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends one devoted, Mamie Coleman. Her remains will lie in state at Small's Mortuary Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 1-8pm and Wednesday, June 24, 2009 after 10am until the 12noon funeral hour Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 1711 Taylor Ln. Interment will follow in the Fowl River Cemetery. Dignified and professional services entrusted to Smalls Mortuary 950 Broad St. Mobile, AL.
